Robinson Crusoe and The Cursed Pirates is a hidden-object adventure game set on a mysterious island, a world of hidden treasures, voodoo magic, and curses.
The game is presented as a book, with a prologue and chapters representing levels. As you advance, a new part of this fascinating story is revealed. Completing a hidden-object level, or getting a Black Spot, will not only require you to find the items on a list, but also solve situations by performing a certain task or combining objects in your inventory. As a new level starts, you will see some green lights that will tell you what your task is, a bit enigmatically, though. These lights serve as a guide and are really helpful because you may often find yourself not really knowing what to do. The mini games included in each HOG level involve deciphering enigmas and solving equations and mind-bending puzzles of all types.
Before starting you can choose one of the two game modes available: Relaxed, with no timer and more hints, or Survivor, that gives you some minutes to complete the tasks and fewer hints.
In difference to most HOGs, this game has numerous turns and twists that make every level a unique experience. Besides, it features an engaging, solid storyline that is beautifully rendered and will appeal to gamers of all ages.
